Facilitated for the first time ever by Pam Hall NOVEMBER 10th, 17th & 24th @ 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM @ Second Story Studios, Collingwood Super Special Introductory Rate of $265 (Never to be repeated!)

Throughout history women have been a curiosity and a mystery. The magic of women has inspired literature and mythology; whole temples have been built in reverence of women. Women have also been repressed out of fear, recognizing we have a power that is and was not fully understood. We now have opportunities to transform not only our own relationships to sexuality but also our ancestral blueprints that we continue to live out in many often unconscious ways. By exploring your feminine intelligence, you have the potential to transform your life in unimaginable ways.

The Orgasmic Hearts series is for ALL Sisters to gather and explore the wonders of the feminine erotic powers.
In this beautifully rich series you will be introduced to the magic of your sacred erotic existence, true embodied connection as well as deepening your ability to listen to your body’s truth and desires.
This series is recommended to women as a foundation for all Orgasmic Hearts events because it covers the Tantric embodiment that so much of this work is based upon… although not saturated with.

This is a modern take on ancient wisdom and it is for every woman!

OVER THE 3 WEEKS YOU WILL EXPLORE

  • Your Radiant Breasts
  • Your Manifesting Womb(if you do not have a physical womb, you still have the energy of manifestation in this center)
  • Your Golden Pussy

WHAT WILL YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THIS JOURNEY?

  • Sacred sexuality practices that will provide a map for you to access more bliss and ecstasy in your life
  • Practical tools to awaken erotic states
  • How altered states of consciousness are healing states and self-empowerment tools
  • Embodied knowledge that will bring you more love, sensation and deep wisdom
  • Understand that orgasmic bliss is far more vast then anyone has ever told you
  • To be more in love with your magnificent body from the inside out
  • An understanding of how erotic energy moves through the receptive feminine
  • An experience of embracing your sexuality as a transformational tool to then integrate this in your world

Dr Janet Hall on TV: Why Do Some Celebrities Steal?

Dr Jan was asked to comment on channel Nine Mornings TV Show!

Stars seem to have it all. But for some, fame and fortune just isn’t enough. They want more, and they’re willing to take it!

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards is the latest celeb apparently caught red-handed.

2015-08-11_1304

She was busted allegedly trying to shoplift more than 100 items from Target. She has pleaded not guilty and will face court on 20th of August.

So, what drives the rich and famous to seek out five finger discounts? Is it just for a thrill, or is it a cry for help?

Q1. Dr Jan, actress Winona Ryder was caught out shoplifting at a high-end department store in 2001.
But it’s not like she would have been short of cash. What drives a celebrity to steal?

  • They gamble on not being caught and if they do, they think it won’t matter and they won’t get into too much trouble because they’re a celebrity.
  • It could be a cry for help… They go into a trance.
  • Winona Ryder… The actress was convicted of grand theft felony and vandalism, given three years’ probation, and assigned to 480 hours of community service. In addition, the court ordered Ryder to pay $6,355 in restitution to Saks and to undergo psychological and drug counseling.

Q2. In 2011, Lindsay Lohan got busted for shoplifting a 2,500-dollar necklace.
Why would she do it, when she’s in the public eye?

  • There is a sense of entitlement, I’m special, I’m above the law. They don’t think they have to face the same consequences that other people would.
  • It’s like a naughty kid, there is impulsive behaviour and they don’t know the boundaries.
  • Lindsay was court ordered to take shoplifting classes and participate in 360 hours of community service.

Q3. The late “Charlie’s Angel” Farrah Fawcett was arrested twice back in the 70s for stealing clothes.
When someone has a repeated urge to steal, is it a sign of a more serious problem?

  • Shopping is a common side effect of bipolar behaviour.
  • Prescription drugs can also cause someone to do this.
  • They have to get treatment, it’s not good enough saying I’m sorry.
  • Farrah Fawcett… was arrested twice in 1970 for stealing clothing from boutiques. Both times, she had gone into the store to exchange defective clothing. Exchanges were against the boutiques policy, so Farrah took it into her own hands to return her unwanted items and take the items she wanted in exchange.

Q4. It seems to be mostly female celebrities who get caught shoplifting.
Why are women the main offenders?

  • It all comes down to ego, entitlement and adrenalin. So both male and female celebrities could be shoplifters.
  • Women like shopping, we are collectors. Retail therapy does soothe the nervous system. We get more stressed then men and seek out what soothes us.

It’s more socially acceptable for a women to accumulate things, material goods, than a man.

That’s why you will see so many cases of female stars shoplifting.

What do you think of the selfie generation?

Dr Jan was recently featured on the Channel 9 Mornings Televison Show on this interesting topic.
Make sure you check out the disrespectful selfies in the link at the end!
I’d love to hear your thoughts? email jan@drjanethall.com.au

Q: WHY ARE SELFIES SO POPULAR?
Dr Jan says:
People like being “in fashion” with technology. They also don’t like missing out – FOMO sufferers are people who have “Fear Of Missing Out”.
The Selfie is the ultimate way to shout out for a “look at me” and what I am doing.
Even shy people like to keep up with the “Jones”.
The extroverts are seeking attention and showing off and the Selfie is the perfect outlet for them.

ARE WE BECOMING A NATION OF NARCISSISTS? selfie-465560_640

Like a narcissist, It does suggest the selfie addict is more self-interested than interested in others.
It’s also suggestive of a sense of entitlement which says “I come first, I am the priority ahead of anyone else”.

WHAT’S BEHIND THE TREND OF TAKING PHOTOS DOING EVER-MORE DANGEROUS THINGS TO GET ATTENTION – SUCH AS SITTING ON THE EDGE OF BOULDERS, LEANING OFF BUILDINGS, ETC?

There is a rush of adrenalin in doing dangerous things which is exciting.
I fear they kid themselves that if they get injured or die, they will have left a selfie legacy of their “courage” in taking such an extreme risk.

IS THE PAYOFF – LIKES, ATTENTION – ADDICTIVE?

Oh yes- there is a surge of feel-good hormones for them when they get noticed – and like any addiction, that reinforces the selfie compulsion to do it again.

WHY ARE WE CROWD SOURCING VALIDATION FROM PEERS AT A DISTANCE?

Because we can! The technology empowers us to reach worldwide if it goes viral.
It can even be a competition. This really boosts the ego and rewards the one who gets the most attention.

WHY HAVE OUR KIDS CHOSEN THE VALIDATION OF STRANGERS AS A MODE OF CULTURAL ACCEPTANCE?

Once again, it’s because everyone has equal technology, instantly self-activated so there is a sense of “we” as well as “me”.

IS THIS A CULTURAL MOVEMENT? WE USED TO JOIN GROUPS TO FEEL PART OF SOMETHING, IS THIS THE SAME THING ONLY DIGITAL?

More a case of FOMO and selfishness and cocky attitude –”I am just like everyone else …only better!”
We who don’t care to promote our selfies don’t like it – it smacks of self-promotion and self-absorption.

We Australians dislike this –it’s Tall Poppy mentality.

THE RISE OF THE DISRESPECTFUL SELFIE

Q: IS THE GOAL TO CAPTURE THE MOST OFFENSIVE IMAGE OR IS IT TO CONVEY A SUPERIOR SENSE OF HUMOUR?

Dr Jan says:
My goodness – my first thought is that these people have never learned to respect history or place!

I think it is to promote a sense of superiority with NO humour – just showing off and trying to be “the feature act” by diminishing the real value of the monument. Some of them might just be naïve but others are just fools.

50 Shades of Grey And What Does work According to Dr Jan

This is the second video by Dr Janet Hall, sex therapist and clinical psychologist. In the first video Dr Jan was disappointed in some aspects of the Fifty Shades plot and writing.

In this video Dr Jan appreciates why it is such a phenomenal success!

2015-02-16_1436

The main character Christian Grey is an unreasonable fantasy figure – a 27 year-old suave billionaire.

…So many of those running around these days, right?

But this is the important part –  E.L.James has sold over 100 million books… so …

Something IMPORTANT and URGENT is going on….

Is it that women want to be undergo S&M violent sex, get whipped and chained?

Of course not!

It IS that Anastasia, the lead character opened – and softened – a closed man’s heart in the process.

Which is every woman’s fantasy.

And honestly, one of the best things a woman can do for a man-

Get the woman to open his heart!
